![]() Crouching on a 3-block high wall you can hit them with a spear (easier than primitive bow & stone arrows) and gives enough meat to make 5 bacon & eggs, and the larger wolves (with the eyes) give you even more. They don't just turn up at night or just at your base, but the most common time they show up does seem to be player made bases after dark for some reason. Crouch with your best ranged weapon, shoot them until dead and then go get that free lunch. Originally posted by Tanadiel:ok, thank you mate !Īnd btw what about wolves? Just try to avoid eating any canned foods that can be used in recipes as not using them now will hugely pay off later when you get the recipes. ![]() If you're not doing things that drain stamina then food goes down far slower. Originally posted by Amanoob105:Simply put, the act of "doing things" that make your stamina go down is what also drains your food and water as your body (or the game mechanics) try to refill it. Doesn't really do anything to stop it going down for the most part (there are a few exceptions), but better made food does wonders to give you more food in the system to burn in the first place to you can go longer before getting hungry.Īs well as drinks Red Tea which will be your drink of choice for most of the game as it gives you a buff to help drain even less food while you do things. Less stamina drained, the less food needed to top it back up. A lot of players swear by this perk, it is very useful. Use less food and water when doing stuff that drains stamina. If you're not doing things that drain stamina then food goes down far slower.īut because you kinda need to be doing stuff to not die, Perk wise your best bets are ![]() Simply put, the act of "doing things" that make your stamina go down is what also drains your food and water as your body (or the game mechanics) try to refill it. All this will keep you from ever being hungry. Cook or buy better food, and eat food to heal instead of bandages. This can make it seem like all you do is eat.īut lets say you get to 60% (watch the green bar under the hotkeys) and eat 1 bacon and eggs, you're full without getting the hunger effect, and that should last half a game day.Įat canned food to keep you topped off. If you then eat a can of tuna, you're at 60% and will still minutes away from hunger, and so on. If you wait til it gets to 40% then eat 1 can of food for +15, you're at 55 and will be at 50% very soon. You get "hungry" when your fullness hits 50%. Happy to help! I'll just leave you with this: your fullness is a number, and food you eat adds directly to it. hmm ok i prefer to learn rather than "cheat", thanks for help mate Cooked food with multiple ingredients, even just bacon & eggs, is very filling and easy to make. The key is to fill up, don't just eat 1 or 2 low value food items after you're hungry because you'll just be hungry again in a few minutes. You can use mods, edit the xml file, use creative mode to either give yourself all the top-tier food or skill points to dump into the skills that help with hunger.īut a better option is to learn the hunger mechanic, and how to manage it so you don't keep starving.
